PIPE REPAIRS
Repair the damage.
Address the cause.
We repair burst and damaged water pipes for homes, businesses and industrial properties. Whether water is escaping from exposed pipework or a concealed pipe is causing damp patches, we assess the problem and determine what needs repairing or replacing.

A burst pipe can cause disruption beyond the immediate leak. We check the affected section, explain the repair options and work to restore your water supply. Where there are signs of corrosion, wear or pressure-related problems, we advise on any further work that may help reduce the risk of another failure.

Your burst pipe questions, answered.
Here are some common questions about burst pipes and pipe repairs. If you still need more information, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
What causes a pipe to burst?
Pipes can fail because of corrosion, ageing materials, excessive water pressure, accidental damage or weakened joints. The cause is not always obvious from the leak itself. Assessing the affected pipework helps us determine a suitable repair and whether any related issues need attention.
What should I do if a pipe bursts?
If you can safely reach your main water shut-off valve, turn it off to limit the flow of water and contact a plumber. Keep clear of wet electrical fittings, appliances and wiring. Let us know where the water is coming from and whether you have been able to isolate the supply.
Can you help with a burst pipe behind a wall or underground?
Yes. We can assess suspected leaks in concealed or underground pipework and advise on the next steps. Leak detection may be needed to narrow down the location before accessing the pipe. The repair approach depends on where the damage is and how the pipe can be reached.
Will the entire pipe need to be replaced?
Not always. A damaged section or leaking connection may be repaired without replacing the full pipe run. If the surrounding pipework is badly worn, corroded or repeatedly failing, a more extensive replacement may be advisable. We’ll explain what we find and the available options.
