DRAIN CAMERA INSPECTION
See inside your drains.
Understand the problem.
Recurring blockages, unexplained drainage problems or suspected pipe damage?
We inspect accessible drainage pipework to help identify what’s happening below the surface.
DRAIN INSPECTIONS
Find the problem.
Plan the next step.
We use drain camera equipment to investigate drainage problems in homes, businesses and industrial properties. By viewing accessible sections of pipework from the inside, we can look for obstructions, root intrusion, damaged joints and other visible issues that may be affecting the flow.

When the same problem keeps returning, understanding the cause can help avoid repeated guesswork. We explain what the inspection reveals and advise on suitable next steps, whether that involves drain clearing, high pressure jetting or repairs to the affected pipework.

KNOW THE SIGNS
Could your drains need a closer look?

Recurring blockages

The same drain keeps blocking despite previous clearing and cleaning.

Persistent slow drainage

Water continues to drain slowly, even after an obstruction has been removed.

Unexplained odours

Unpleasant smells persist around drains without an obvious surface cause.

Suspected pipe damage

Ongoing drainage issues suggest there may be a fault within the pipework.

Your drain camera inspection questions, answered.
Here are some common questions about drain camera inspections. If you still need more information, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
How does a drain camera inspection work?
A specialised camera is fed into the drain through a suitable access point. It provides a live view of the pipe’s interior, allowing us to examine accessible sections for visible obstructions, damage and other issues. How far we can inspect depends on the pipe’s size, layout, condition and accessibility.
What can a drain camera inspection identify?
An inspection can help reveal root intrusion, build-up, foreign objects, displaced joints and visible cracks or damage. It can also show standing water within the pipe. Some findings may need further investigation, particularly where dirty water or an obstruction limits the camera’s view.
Does the drain need to be cleared before inspection?
Sometimes. Heavy build-up, standing dirty water or a complete blockage can prevent the camera from passing through or providing a clear image. We assess the situation and advise whether clearing or cleaning is needed before a useful inspection can take place.
Will a camera inspection fix the drainage problem?
The inspection helps diagnose the problem; it does not clear or repair the drain itself. Once we have assessed the visible condition of the pipework, we can recommend suitable next steps. These may include drain clearing, high pressure jetting or repairs, depending on what we find.
