KNOW THE SIGNS
Does your plumbing need some attention?

Dripping taps

Taps continue to drip after closing, wasting water and leaving marks around fittings.

Running toilets

Water keeps flowing into the bowl or the cistern takes longer than usual to refill.

Leaking fittings

Moisture collects around connections, beneath sinks or at the base of fixtures.

Worn fixtures

Loose handles, stiff taps or damaged fittings make everyday use more difficult.

Your general plumbing questions, answered.
Here are some common questions about general plumbing. If you still need more information, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
What does general plumbing cover?
General plumbing includes everyday repairs, maintenance and installations involving taps, toilets, sinks, basins, showers and associated pipework. This can range from replacing a worn component to fitting a new fixture. Tell us what you need so we can confirm the scope of the work.
Can you help with several small repairs in one visit?
Yes. Let us know about all the items that need attention when you enquire, so we can plan the visit accordingly. Completing everything in one visit will depend on the work involved, access and whether any specific replacement parts are required.
Should a leaking tap or toilet be repaired or replaced?
That depends on its condition, the cause of the problem and the availability of suitable parts. A worn washer, seal or internal mechanism may be replaceable. If the fixture is damaged or repeatedly causing problems, replacement may be a more practical option. We’ll explain what we find and advise you.
Can you install fixtures that I have already purchased?
We can assess whether your chosen fixtures are suitable for the existing plumbing and available space. Share the product details with us before the visit where possible. We’ll check the connection requirements and let you know if any additional fittings or alterations are needed.
