Your geyser service questions, answered.
Here are some common questions about geyser repairs, maintenance and installations. If you still need more information, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
Why is my geyser not producing hot water?
A lack of hot water can have several causes, including an interrupted electricity supply, a faulty heating element or a thermostat problem. The symptoms alone may not reveal the cause. An assessment helps determine what needs attention and whether electrical work is also required.
Can a leaking geyser be repaired?
It depends on where the leak originates. A leaking connection, valve or associated pipe may be repairable without replacing the geyser. If the storage tank itself has failed, replacement is generally needed. We assess the source of the leak before advising on the appropriate work.
How do I know what size geyser I need?
The right capacity depends on how many people use hot water, the number of bathrooms and how demand is spread throughout the day. Available space and the existing installation also matter. We can discuss your usage and help you choose a suitable size for your property.
Does a geyser need regular maintenance?
Periodic checks can help identify leaks, worn components and other issues that may affect performance. Maintenance requirements depend on the geyser’s type, age, condition and manufacturer’s guidance. We can assess your installation and advise on the attention it needs.
